You could run a classified in the paper or try something like Craigslist. Computer repair places might buy old computers for parts. A pawn shop may also buy an old computer. In any event, even if you throw it in the trash, make sure to clear all memory.

Depending on where you live in Atlanta area there are lots of online options. Besides Craig's List, you can post ads with Creativeloafing.com & Backpage.com. Take a look at Yahoo Groups. I've sold stuff thru the Atlanta Online Garage Sale group. There is also a North Ga EZbay group. Key in 'sales', 'garage sales' with Atlanta in the groups search feature. It's usually easy to join a group and it's always free. If you're not in a hurry, someone will byte eventually.

There really isn't a huge demand for old computers. You may want to try Craig's list or a local classified listing. Make sure to erase your hard drive before you sell it though.

advertise free by going to main Yahoo page clicking groups and joining Cheapcycle, negaads and other similar groups. I see older computers advertised there and apparently they are selling.
